Transport students to and from home/school or a designated location. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Transportation Director.
Essential Functions: Perform vehicle inspections and safety, check lights; gauges and switches for proper operation; inform Director or Head Mechanic of defects or mechanical failures; observe driving and district rules and regulations; maintain confidentiality of student information.
Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED and moderate experience operating a bus, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Special Requirements: Valid commercial driver's license with school bus and air brake endorsement.
Training: We will provide and pay for training.
