Direct Support Professional – Part-Time

Location: Alexandria, MN
Pay: $18.75 per hour

Hours: Less than 30 hours per week

Schedule: Flexible hours, including days and weekends

A Heartland Industries Direct Support Professional must be caring, compassionate, flexible, and have great people skills to support individuals with disabilities by modeling behaviors to help them gain skills and maintain employment.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must have no driving violations within the past 3 years
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be available to work days and weekends

Responsibilities

• Work alongside individuals with disabilities to help them obtain and maintain meaningful employment in the community
• Safely transport clients as needed
• Complete accurate daily documentation and charting
• Document daily progress notes, program goal charting, communication notes, and other required information
