Position Overview
The Dashery is a high-end retail destination offering elevated men’s and women’s apparel with a strong focus on personal service, quality, and experience. We believe great style starts with great people – and our team sets the tone for everything we do.
 
We’re looking for a Sales Associate who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and understands that high-end retail is equal parts service, sales, and attention to detail. This individual must have a strong service mindset, the ability to confidently sell and upsell product, and the flexibility to pivot between project-based work and customer service depending on store traffic and seasonality.
 
Retail experience is required and candidates must be available to work weekends.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
Customer Service & Sales
  • Provide a high-touch, welcoming, and professional experience for every customer.
  • Actively engage customers, assess needs, and recommend products with confidence.
  • Drive sales through effective selling techniques, including add-ons and upselling.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge to support styling, fit, and purchase decisions.
  • Deliver consistent service aligned with high-end retail expectations.
 
Floor Awareness & Flexibility
  • Seamlessly pivot from projects (merchandising, restocking, organization, etc.) to customer service as traffic and seasons require.
  • Maintain awareness of the sales floor at all times, prioritizing customers over tasks when needed.
  • Support peak seasons, events, and promotional periods with urgency and professionalism.
 
Operational Excellence
  • Assist with daily store operations including restocking, merchandising, and visual upkeep.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and brand standards throughout the store.
  • Support inventory flow and basic operational tasks as assigned.
 
Team Collaboration
  • Work collaboratively with leadership and peers to maintain a positive, accountable team culture.
  • Accept coaching and feedback to continuously improve performance and service standards.
 
Qualifications
  • Previous retail sales experience required.
  • Proven ability to sell, upsell, and engage customers confidently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-first mindset with attention to detail and presentation.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Availability to work a full-time schedule with rotating weekend requirements.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor aligned with a high-end retail brand.
