Seasonal Water Production

Reports To: Manager of Water Distribution

Hours:

• 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday, on-site at the ALP Operations Center
• Seasonal (40 hours / week), non-exempt, non-union position

Compensation: $20.00 per hour

Benefits:

• Earned Sick and Safe Time: 1 hour for every 30 hours worked

Role Overview:

A Seasonal Water Production Worker assists full-time staff with the safe, reliable operation and maintenance. This role is hands-on, requiring field work in varied weather conditions to ensure water quality and perform equipment maintenance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist Water Production Worker with daily tasks

• Performs routine hydrant maintenance, repair and exercising, including painting and lubrication of parts.
• Performs various cleaning and/or painting duties in and around well houses and water plants.
• Assists with gate valve exercising and repair.
• Performs routine lawn and landscaping duties around pump houses and water plants.
• Assisting with excavations.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirement:

• Must be 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience operating equipment
• Valid Driver’s License

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid CDL License
