ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Technician at Creative Coatings, you'll play a key role in transforming floors with precision and care. You'll work collaboratively with your team and Team Lead throughout each day's phases to deliver top-notch results, embodying our dedication to trust, quality, and respect.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Execute concrete floor preparation, repairs, cleaning, and priming with meticulous attention to detail
• Apply coatings evenly and proficiently, ensuring quality and consistency
• Collaborate effectively with Team Leads and fellow technicians
• Maintain tools, materials, and equipment to the highest standards
• Provide exceptional service to clients, ensuring they feel valued at every interaction
• Follow established processes, checklists, and safety protocols
• Participate in daily kickoff meetings and post-project debriefings
• Contribute innovative ideas to improve workflows and team efficiency
• You will be transforming floors in all kinds of spaces.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship
• Ability to follow instructions and execute tasks with precision
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Flexibility to adapt to various job site conditions and schedules
• Professional conduct and appearance that reflects company values
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the company
• Ability to travel and spend nights away from home when required

Preferred:

• Experience in construction, painting, flooring, or related fields
• Track record of quality workmanship and reliability

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

This position requires the ability to travel and spend nights away from home as project needs require. To compensate for this requirement, Creative Coatings provides:

• Away-from-Home Bonus: $50.00 per night when working away from your home location, in addition to lodging arrangements
• Night Work Bonus: $100.00 per approved night shift
• All travel arrangements and accommodation provided by the company

COMPENSATION & EARNINGS POTENTIAL

Starting Wage: $22–$25 per hour, with growth opportunities.

• Pay is based on experience and skills.
• Training Level: $22/hr
• Level 1 Technician: $25/hr
• Level 2 Technician: $28/hr (earnable within 6 months)
• Additional roles: Team Lead and higher pay available
• Overtime: 1.5x hourly rate for hours over 40/week
• Bonuses: $50/night away-from-home; $100/night for approved night shifts

Technicians can increase earnings through overtime and advancement, with clear paths for pay progression.
