Facility and Equipment Maintenance Technician

• Equipment Reliability

• • Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on CNC and other manufacturing equipment.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and controls system issues quickly and accurately.
  • Calibrate and fine-tune machines to maintain peak precision and performance.
  • Keep tools, parts, and work areas organized and ready to support rapid response.

• Facility Performance and Safety
  • Maintain and repair facility systems including HVAC, plumbing, lighting and other building infrastructure.
  • Monitor and document facility conditions to ensure a safe, efficient, and complaint work environment.
  • Follow OSHA guidelines and promote a strong safety culture throughout daily practices and collaboration. 
  • Support facility upgrades and improvements that enhance performance and reliability.
• Continuous Improvement and Maintenance Excellence
  • Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to implement, log, track, and analyze maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Identify recurring issues and propose long-term solutions that improve machine uptime and reliability.
  • Stay current on new technologies, maintenance technologies, and equipment advancements to expand skills.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve maintenance processes and overall equipment effectiveness. 

Knowledge and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; Technical certification or associate's degree preferred
• 3 years of experience in CNC machine maintenance and facility management
• Experience with or ability to learn CMMS software with provided training
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
• Ability to walk or stand up to 100 percent of the time
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or climb
• Ability to operate or be trained to operate a forklift
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to obtain a DOT health card
