Discovery Middle School is seeking a Temporary Technology Support Specialist to provide hands-on technical assistance. This full-time, short-term position plays a key role in supporting students and staff with technology needs—ensuring devices and systems run smoothly for a productive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Chromebook support, including setup, troubleshooting, and repair coordination.
Assist students and staff with basic technology issues involving hardware, software, and connectivity.
Maintain technology inventory and accurate asset records.
Collaborate with district technology staff to ensure consistent service and support.
Deliver friendly, professional customer service in a school setting.
Qualifications:
Associate’s or technical degree in Information/Computer Technology or related field preferred.
Experience providing technical support or working with educational technology systems.
Knowledge of Chromebooks, Google Workspace for Education, and common classroom technology tools.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a service-oriented mindset.
Compensation:
$25.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
