Saw Operator (Day Shift)

Day Shift Hours: Monday-Thursday 6:30am-4:30pm

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Operation and maintenance of the saw
• Fabrication support activities as cleaning steel and moving material
• Handle, move and deliver material with forklift or other means to support Fabrication department
• Accurately record data in ERP system to capture part movement and cost
• Recommend and implement up-to-date manufacturing methods to increase productivity and reduce costs

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and understand the proper use of measuring instruments
• Ability to operate or learn to operate a forklift safely
• Basic shop math skills as rounding, positive/negative numbers, metric system
• Ability to walk or stand up to 100 percent of the time
• Ability to lift, push, pull up to 75 lbs.
