Position Overview
The Community Education Coordinator plays a key role in developing, overseeing, and promoting Community Education programs. This position supports daily operations and coordinates programming under the guidance of the Director of Community Education.
The primary responsibility for this role is managing Shenanigans, our indoor playground facility, including program planning, staffing, and day-to-day operations. The coordinator will also provide support to Compass, our School Age Childcare program.
Key Responsibilities

Lead daily operations, programming, and staffing for Shenanigans indoor playground

Provide support and assistance to Compass: School Age Childcare

Plan, develop, and coordinate community education programs for all ages

Recruit, train, and schedule staff and volunteers

Manage program registration and customer interactions

Create marketing and communication materials to promote programs
-
Build and maintain relationships with community partners and internal staff
-
Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements

Attend professional development and in-service training as assigned

Analyze data and generate reports to support continuous improvement
Preferred Qualifications

Associate’s degree or higher
-
Experience in education, recreation, hospitality, or related fields

Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively
