About Cardinal Care:
Cardinal Care is a preschool wrap-around and non-school day program serving 4-year-olds at the Early Education Center.
Essential Functions

Provide positive leadership and guidance to students and classroom staff, modeling professionalism and supportive behavior.

Foster a warm, caring, and safe environment where students, families, and staff feel valued and supported.

Plan and implement fun, developmentally appropriate daily activities aligned with program goals.

Provide individualized and group behavior support to promote positive social-emotional development.

Teach and reinforce social skills while reducing disruptive behaviors through consistent positive strategies.

Maintain open communication with parents/guardians through daily interactions, scheduled meetings, and regular updates.

Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure a cohesive, inclusive learning environment.

Participate actively in staff meetings and stay informed on program initiatives.

Serve as the primary point of contact for classroom concerns, needs, and updates.

Maintain accurate records, including attendance, progress notes, and incident reports.

Keep the classroom organized, clean, and well-maintained with accessible materials.

Follow all program policies, safety procedures, and regulations at all times.

Complete required training and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
-
Previous experience working with preschool-aged children.

Prior leadership experience preferred.

Ability to work independently and take initiative.

Strong communication skills.

Must be at least 18 years old.

Post-secondary education preferred.
Compensation
$21.70 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
