Commerical Cleaner, Part-Time

Summary 

Primary cleaning personnel for the ATCC Foundation housing, working 20-25 hours per week. An additional 10-15 hours per week are required during peak periods, typically April through July. Flexibility in scheduling is essential. 

This position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and upkeep of Foundation housing and plays a key role in ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for residents and staff. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors, empty trash cans, service restrooms, kitchen, and communal surfaces.
• Clean and inspect apartments to meet high standards.
• Organize temporary cleaners during high turnover (“turn”) timeframes and perform occasional emergency cleaning as needed.
• Notify management of maintenance or repair needs required.
• Monitor cleaning supply inventory and alert management when restocking is needed.
• Complete other related duties as assigned. 

Education: Education sufficient to read, write, and speak as needed for the job. 

Experience: Minimum one year of professional cleaning experience required. 

Skills: 

• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic mechanical skills are helpful.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies preferred.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing work assignments and schedule.

Physical Demands: 

• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent pulling, pushing, bending, standing, and walking are required.
