This role supports the success of the company through accuracy and great customer service.

Job Description

The Route Driver is responsible for the direct delivery and maintenance of all portable restroom rentals.  This person has the responsibility of ensuring all rentals are placed appropriately and serviced accordingly as scheduled.

The Route Driver is responsible for the completion of a daily route and task list consisting of different duties.  Consistent and effective communication with the route supervisor, other team members, and customers is essential. 

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up portable restrooms for customers and event set ups.
• Service and maintain portable restroom rentals on a weekly route.
• Complete route schedules daily in an efficient and timely manner.
• Follow a web-based system composed of daily tasks.
• Maintain restroom units in good working order, keep units fully stocked, and meet cleanliness standards of the company.
• Act as a contact with customers. Always maintain professionalism and leave customer property as it was prior to arriving.
• Communicate with the route supervisor and other team members effectively and professionally.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete weekly route duties and tasks.
• Work closely with team members to complete duties at the central location (i.e.: weekly cleaning tasks, emptying large waste tank, other tasks needed to keep the location in working order).
• Observe proper safety practices at all times.
• Maintain all service vehicles and property of HPS Rental with respect.
• Notify management of any issues or potential issues.
