The Minnesota Service Cooperatives are seeking applicants for three open positions for Statewide COMPASS Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Leads. This hybrid position offers a flexible work location. This position may be hosted by any of the nine Minnesota Service Cooperatives.
Job Description:
The Statewide COMPASS ECSC Leads are federally funded positions that work to support statewide ECSE efforts as part of Minnesota’s comprehensive system of personnel development within the Collaborative Minnesota Partnerships to Advance Student Success (COMPASS) network between the Minnesota Service Cooperatives (MSC) and the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE). This statewide position may be hosted by any of the nine (9) Minnesota Service Cooperatives. The Statewide COMPASS ECSE Lead is both a specialist in early intervention (EI) and ECSE and a member of a statewide team of COMPASS specialists that focus on other student groups and content areas. The Statewide COMPASS ECSE Lead ensures inclusion of EI/ECSE students as part of the broader statewide and regional COMPASS systems during continuous improvement discussions and decision-making. Under the direction of MDE in coordination with DCYF, the Statewide COMPASS ECSE Lead will support the implementation of MDE and DCYF identified state-level requirements and initiatives. The Statewide COMPASS ECSE Lead will also establish and maintain relationships with ECSE program leadership and foster connections and collaboration among local program leaders throughout Minnesota. Salary Range: $90,000 - $115,000, negotiable (260 days annually)
Benefits: Benefits may include vacation, sick leave, holidays, volunteer time off, health, vision, and dental plans, 403B, and TRA retirement savings. Benefits will vary depending on the host service cooperative.
