Hours: 7:30AM-4:00PM (occasional hours outside of this timeframe as needed) This is a full-time (40 hours/ week), non-exempt, non-union position.

Compensation and Benefits: Starting Pay: $30.20 – $37.75

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Execute annual communications plan for ALP departments and programs to drive customer engagement
  • Attend various community events, trainings and face-to-face customer meetings
  • Maintain ALP’s online presence including social media, web content and SmartHub Marketing
  • As requested, compose or prepare internal and external correspondence for General Manager, Department Managers, and utility staff by editing and proofreading all documents
  • As requested, prepare spreadsheets, reports, proposals and presentations using Microsoft Office software
  • Maintain accurate and efficient filing systems. Ensure documents are scanned/ placed in the appropriate files and retention schedules are followed
  • Prepare and post meeting notices, compile electronic board packet and attend Board meetings to take minutes
  • Maintain ALP’s service policy documents
  • Serves as the primary contact for conference registrations and travel accommodations
  • Distribute mail, manage shared inboxes, maintain company calendars, order office supplies and promotional/informational materials, and other clerical duties as assigned
  • Serves as a backup for Customer Service

Education / Experience:

  • Minimum: High School diploma or GED, two or more years of relevant work experience, proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, portfolio creation, and Microsoft Office products.
  • Preferred: Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, ability to work well with others, familiarity with document/ record retention and graphic design platforms.
