This role will be crucial in ensuring our systems run smoothly and that our technology meets the needs of both our customers and team.

A Technology Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining our bank’s network, servers, and hardware systems, ensuring seamless operations with regular updates, troubleshooting, and backups to minimize downtime. This role also involves implementing and managing cybersecurity protocols such as firewalls, encryption, and anti-virus systems to protect sensitive financial data and ensure regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will provide Tier 2 technical support, assisting employees with hardware, software, and system-related issues. They will ensure banking software and applications are up-to-date and secure while supporting data management and adhering to data protection regulations. Additionally, this role involves maintaining comprehensive documentation on systems, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines, contributing to process improvements and ensuring compliance with industry regulations (FDIC, OCC, GLBA, PCI-DSS). The pay range for this position is $25-$35 per hour, depending on experience.
The ideal candidate for the Technology Specialist role will have a two-year degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT, with a focus on network administration, cybersecurity management, and technical support in a banking or financial services environment, is preferred. Preferred certifications include CompTIA Network+, Security+, or similar IT certifications, along with Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or other security-related certifications.
