As a Parts Assistant/Shipping and receiving position you are responsible for ordering, receiving, stocking, issuing and inventory of parts, supplies and tools in all our company stores. Occasional parts runs for important parts orders to worksites.

Requirements:

• Two years of previous experience in working in a parts department and or Shipping and Receiving.
• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime during busy periods (including rotating Saturdays and on call Sunday).
• Basic reading, writing and math skills required.
• Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of Company information.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and outside the organization.
• Valid Driver’s License preferably Class A
• Acceptable motor vehicle record
• Ability to work cooperatively with others.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, carry, reach, push and pull approx. 50 pounds.
• Intermediate plus computer skills. 

Responsibilities:

• Assist in ordering and supplying parts for departments as needed.
• Research price comparisons to ensure the best price is obtained.
• Work with Parts Manager to maintain records of supplies ordered and received.
• Store parts according to a prearranged system.
• Take inventory of stock as necessary.
• Deliver parts to worksites as needed.
• Assist with interior and exterior building maintenance. 
• Organize, plan and prioritize work, meet deadlines.
• Complies with Company Safety Program. 
• Receiving parts into CSI’s computer systems and returning any parts not being used.
• Organization and cleanliness of loading dock area
• Forklift experience or willingness to learn.
• Perform other tasks as needed.
