The Chief Deputy Treasurer is responsible for balancing the daily collections and disbursements of County funds, investing funds in accordance with County policies and State statutes, managing cash flow and maintaining records. The position serves as the chief liaison between the County and banks. The position is responsible for supervision of staff as assigned.
Associate's or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration, or closely related field. Three to five years accounting, auditor-treasurer, banking, or related experience preferred.
Will also consider any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities.
Valid driver's license.
Passport certification through Regional Passport Agency (must obtain upon hire)

This position is regularly scheduled to work 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. The 2025 starting salary for this position is $69,534/annually, depending on Qualifications, with career advancement to $104,354/annually.
