As a key member of our transportation team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of students during their bus routes. Your responsibilities will include monitoring student conduct, offering support for student needs, and maintaining clear communication with the Transportation Safety and Behavior Facilitator.
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure Student Safety and Well-Being:
Oversee student behavior on the bus and enforce district discipline policies to maintain a secure and respectful environment. Address minor discipline concerns and escalate any serious issues to the Transportation Safety and Behavior Facilitator. -
Manage Student Conduct:
Monitor and address student behavior during the bus ride, keeping the environment safe and conducive to learning. Report any significant concerns to the appropriate staff. -
Support Student Needs:
Provide assistance to students as necessary during the bus ride, creating a supportive and positive atmosphere. -
Maintain Communication:
Work closely with the Transportation Safety and Behavior Facilitator, providing daily updates on student progress, behavioral management, and any interventions used.
Commitment to Professional Development:
- Participate in Meetings and Training:
Engage in required meetings and in-service training to stay informed on best practices for student management, safety protocols, and other relevant topics.
Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: $20.50 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
