Provide Individual, Group, Couples and Family Therapy to alleviate mental health issues
Provide clinical assessment and diagnose psychological disorders
Complete all progress notes, diagnostic assessments and collaboration notes based on company policy and insurance regulations.
Create treatment plan and evaluate ongoing course of treatment
Prepare and maintain psychological records ensuring HIPPA compliance.
Be creative in helping lead clients to achieve and exceed their goals
Assess patients for risk of suicidal/homicidal behavior and coordinate required services for the safety of clients.
Administer mental health assessment tools as necessary to obtain measurable objective outcomes

Obtain client signatures on all necessary documentation
Collect and maintain accurate insurance information for your clients
Assist with updating client information to ensure timely collection of payments and billing
Manage your own schedule
Keep schedule in EHR up to date to allow for office to add new intakes to schedule
Maintain the cleanliness of your office space
Participate in clinical consultation meetings and trainings

Complete all requested documentation necessary to comply with credentialing requirements
Provide collaborative care approach for clients
Connect clients with community resources
Provide on-call support for mental health emergencies
Collaborate with necessary providers to coordinate care of clients
Attend client collaboration meetings for collaborative care purposes
Facilitate referrals and recommendations for outside treatment
Document all points of contact with about the client and complete all required records in a timely manner
Respond to requests for records using HIPAA compliant fax and document appropriately
Ensure documentation received from other sources is in the EHR before destroying documents
Attend staff meetings

Ensure ethical and exceptional care of all clients
Maintain licensure
Learn about new developments in counseling by reading professional literature, attending courses and seminars, and establishing and maintaining contact with other social service agencies
Maintain insurance credentialing at the request of employer
Maintain Professional Liability Insurance – provided to employer annually
Maintain Professional licenses renewal – provided to employer annually
Attend trainings to maintain licensure and ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
Complete all renewal paperwork for credentialing, insurance, licensing, etc
Stay up to date on trends in standards of practice, training opportunities, regulations, ethics, laws, etc
Abide by Code of Ethics
Abide by State and Federal laws and statutes
Abide by all licensing board requirements and remain in compliance with requirements
Abide by all company policies and procedures
Qualifications and Skills
Master’s degree in related field and on track to obtain licensure in their designated field
Pursuing clinical licensure (LMFT, LPCC, LICSW, LP, etc) or fully licensed mental health professional with a valid MN license
Experience with completing DAs, treatment plans and clinical case notes preferred
Experience with diverse population preferred (children, teens, adults, families etc)
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrate appropriate boundaries with clients
Ability to complete and submit documentation in a timely manner
Culturally competent
Proficient in the use of technology
Preferred experience working with an EHR system
Ability to pass a background check
Must be licensed in the state in which the patient is located
Must be comfortable working independently
Must work from a home/office physically located in the US
