Community Education, School-age care program, Compass Group Leader - Summer 2026

Alexandria Public Schools Community Education offers a wide variety of youth and adult programs throughout the year. Community Education is looking for creative, energetic, and personable people who have a passion for families and have outstanding customer service skills to join our dynamic team.

Compass is Alexandria Community Education’s school-age care program, providing before- and after-school, non-school day and summer care for students PreK-6th Grade.  The summer program is located in WES/EEC and DMS.

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must have previous experience working with PreK-6th Grade students.

Be a self starter and perform a job with little supervision.

Must be in good physical condition.
